Not sure I ever noticed you'd gone for the HTA turbo James, god knows how...

Are you still running the Revo2 map and any power figures? :) Very nice spec

Only ordered the turbo bits a few days ago so it still very much a work in progress.

Still loads of little bits and bobs to finish off should be a few months before she is back on the road.

Hoping for 400+bhp but we will see :)

Nice one - just been reading the last few pages of your thread to catch up.

On a side note - my SQS gearset came to £1900 fully assembled by SQS including my LSD that I sent them, with them providing their own gearbox casing so they could build it in-house. Not cheap but one hell of a piece of kit - the whine from the semi helical gears is awesome :)

You've pretty much reached the same stage and conclusion as me with your engine spec. Speaking to Alex I think I'll also opt for the 2868 HTA next year when funds allow so interested to see how you get on with it. Hope it all goes well!

Yeah Joe was telling me that it sounded amazing, It will be something I am really looking into, but it may be a case of run mine till it blows and then rebuild it, as I cant warrant spending that much money right now.
Did they give you an idea to what the box is rated for?
I have heard very good things about the HTA's. They are meant to spool like a 2860 and flow like a 2871 which makes for an almost perfect turbo.
They will make 380bhp @ 1.8bar on a .64a/r but Alex has tested them with both .64 and .86 hotsides and tells me there isnt much in it lag wise so I opted for the .86. If it turns out too laggy I will just swap it over for a .64 housing.
I was researching the other night and found a .7x hotside which could also be an option to fine tune the setup.

These are all things to consider at a later date though, need to get the thing running 1st!

I'll be watching this with interest as these are exactly the things I've been contemplating.

No figures from SQS but if you look at the comparison pictures in my thread of stock vs semi helical gears you can appreciate just how heavy duty these things are. Certainly capable of hybrid and HTA power

Hopefully the turbo should be with me in the next 10 days and I will take a load of pics. I dont know about you but I'm finding it very hard to find any pictures of the thing!
Its basically a hybrid gt28. (which im sure you know lol)
Ill keep posting as things progress.
