i reckon that could be a very cheap repair if you get a chance to buy it back. There are tonnes of LEons in breakers andloads will have good dashes. Obviously if you buy it new it would be pricvery, but if repairing yourself would be cheap on second hand bits

really sorry to hear about it mate, kind of shits you up thinking about it (if my missus was driving along and that happened she would prob never get in a car again), on the bright side that would be a great project car and ud have first offer of the insurance company (much cheapness). Buy it back strip it out whack up the boost and take it on the 1/4 mile till it goes bang (again) lol

I'd be up for a group buy on them, however Andy's pretty much right - I doubt any of us will be in a position to use them if a fire starts while we're rolling along.

Pull over, evacuate and call in the fire brigade - better than one of us getting burnt trying to save our cars :(

well, just got the dreaded call from the insurance company telling me the car is a write off, not good.
They tell me i should have a value by tomorrow morning, im sure its bound to be cr*p first offer!
