did you sort your boost leak with bumper off job ?

running sweet now ?

My mate is en route now to help me with that and also put the torque mount on mate, tbh the more I've driven it, it does seem to be running pretty sweet at the moment, so it could just be me getting worried about nothing, think we're going to double clamp it today to be on the safe side anyways :)

Oh John, when ppl get APR maps at Awesome, do they get RR'd at the time or is that extra?

Tempted to leave it on standard map for the RR Day on the 12th to see what it's running just on the mods it has, then stage 2 a week or two later?

Yea sadly its extra cost :(
i think its probs best to get it rolled on the 12th see what you get then get the map sorted after. see what gains you get.

thanks John :)
Yup just put it on this afternoon, not had chance to test it too much yet, but can see the engine doesnt rock half as much in the bay!
All the boost hoses are double clamped too.

Ouch sorry to hear that Makey...not too sure about turbo's at this point mate, I'm still running standard, I'd seriously look at what Mike suggests. As for my job...trust me, you wouldn't want it lol

:( Bugger... most folks on here would probably recommend you give the old turbo the hybrid treatment!

haha id love to! i just bought a motorbike though so want to keep costs to a minimum at the moment, well at least it might be less smokey now!!

Class, i liked my px4's! Though one front is now dead :( getting them cupra bushes put in, new tyres and tracking done this month to stop uneven tyre wear, far too much expense before xmas :(

the cupra solid bushes were 15 quid delivered off sere, then whilst the wishbones are out im going to get the arb ones done too, they are about 37 quid from powerflex. then about 2 hours labour i think. I dont fancy doing the bushes myself!

when are you booked in for mapping?

Yeah..I'd really like to draw a line on the car before next year and say it's finished tbh mate...wanna start using my money for other things...feel it's been a bit of a sprint these last few months to bring the FR up to the same level I had the Corsa at. Oh, and for the record, I'm neck and neck to 90mph with Penno's 173bhp 1.8 C, as I found out wednesday!!!
