Rob, awesome, let me know what you want...which will depend how much correction you think your car needs. I do a 1 stage or a 2 stage, depending how much attention it needs...obviously 2 stage is more in depth so takes longer.

Aimez, might have to get mine up and get the arch liners out for a look see...bet they're filthy!!!

It'll probably be better with stage two, it's got one scratch wich tbh I don't think you will get out can feel it with my finger nail. The rest is just general swirl marks like Chris had.

You think a touch up pen before you polish it would work? It's only maybe 15-20mm long.

Clean it then very lightly and sparingly apply the touch up pen, try not to leave too much of a raised surface with the paint if you can, we might be able to wet-sand it to flat it then use a compound to blend it. I did a few on my mates 200sx recently that came out quite good.

get the chipex kit or as said cheaper option 3000 unit grit megs wet and dry and something like Sonus sfx1 and the 2 and 3 after to get id of sanding marks. Or try paint 4 u the seat touch up paint is shockingly bad match!

Advise other mk4 owner to clean up int he lip of the wing yeh was okay last time there and the bit nearest the door loads of muck stuck in there!

Paint 4 u the ones that come to your house and spray on your drive?

You had any personal experience with them before?

no they are a website you can order repair kits from but think their paint match it better than Seat, people on detailing world were using them to order paint and then using Megs 3000 in the way i mentioned. The chipex one on here you get club discount but it still like £40! But if you have no decent level of polish that will cost you a fair bit. I did mine by hand as did not have a machine polisher at the time took a while but some of them came out really well. MY bonnet is a lost cause really hundreds of stone ships looks a state!

I still to see a black car same age as mien with same amount think the entire front end of the car was painted badly in the factory the old bumper the paint went funny, the wings rusted and the bonnet had more stone chips than most, already changed the rear bumper and accident meant new driver side rear quarter nearly changed all the paint on my car anyway!
I got them led bulbs in number plate they still going strong well over a year later.

Right, my friday evening was spent cleaning/sealing the SuperT's:

Then got them on the next morning, got car tracked and checked pressures etc. Then began a mammoth 7hour detail...which went like:

Snowfoam
Wash
Dry
Iron-x/Tardis (really didn't get much bleed out of the Iron-x, guess being under a carport a lot saves the paint frlom a lot of contamination)
Clay
Wash
Polish (DJ Lime Prime on a DA)
Sealant (Sonus SFX4)
Wax (DJ Banana Armour)
Dressings (tyres etc)

Didn't get many pictures as was in the 'zone' lol

Finally got around to doing a job I've been meaning to do for ages...cleaning the arches out...

Gave the wheels a good clean and another coat of Chemical Guys Wheel Guard whilst I had them off too. Cleaning the arches was actually pretty easy with a mix of citrus wash and gloss and snow foam combo through the snowfoam lance, then cleaning and scrubbing with Megs APC. Shame I didn't have any spray on sealant or I would have given that a go too.

Nope, no hosepipe ban up in Manchester/Stockport ;)

Had a trip over to Leeds on Saturday to visit some friends and pick a few bits up. So far have got the inlet on...due to my car not having any deletes done yet, the rocker cover proved a little tricky but should be on soon:
