Small update, guys.
I was just playing around with my Tomtom - I'm planning to integrate one into the dash for my next car, whenever that will be - and so decided to practice modding this cheaper one, in preparation for the real deal. First off was an easy mod - I changed the splash screen that appears when I turn the device on.

Pretty neat, huh? :p

I done something similar last year when I had TomTom on my phone, also changed the car sysmbol to an Ibiza too. ;)

Glad to see the pixel car thing finally came in handy!

Media player to come next, possibly :p

This weird thing happened to me the other day, as I was giving the car a bit of a rag -

My air filter decided to rip itself clean off. No idea why. I had the jubilee clip on lower than the tear. I suspect the filter wasn't sitting low enough, and the vibrations and heat from the engine caused the overhanging top to tear off.

what filter is that!! beast! lol. you got a heat shield for it? you not stick with your k&n then? which would you say is best? my k&n makes my top end revs a bit smoother, but i didnt want an open cone because of loss of power due to heat soak? whats your verdict?? cheers.

That's the K&N one buddy, only one I've ever had. I wish I would've known they suffered from this nasty sounding heat soaking (what is it? This, what happened to me?). If I would have known about the heat shield before, I would have tried to do something with that. I'm pretty pissed off with it, to be honest - I've decided I won't bother again with any filters, difference wasn't that great anyway, and I'd rather put the money towards something else. >: (

Plans for the future

Just jotting some ideas down, and I might need some help with these too :D

1. Glossy black mirror covers (Where can I get these? I understand Cupras have them)
2. Vinyl wrapped black roof (Anywhere in South Wales that could do this?)
3. Black wheels (Again, anywhere in South Wales? I hear Castle Coatings is good)
4. SEAT Centrecaps for the black wheels (Any reputable sellers on eBay?)

Tips anyone? :funk:

One of the main factors in my decisions to apply a mod or not is of course how it would look on my car. Without the mod installed though, how would I know? ;)
Being an avid photography fan, Photoshop is a little something I need to be able to use.
Since I got the car, I've always played with it in Photoshop to see how various mods will look - I haven't used it for some time now, seeing as I can now imagine most mods on my car, but nonetheless here are some of my renderings -

This is from the time before I had my BBS's! So here I look at what newer alloys would look like on my car...
