still sounds a little high to be honest. as for part numbers i dont have them here at work but have them at home i think. surely a quick search on here must throw them up?

30 sec search brings up

6L3853536B 9B9
6L3853535B B41
6L3853515B 9B9
6L3853516B 9B9

for the full set!

had a quick look and havent seen anything but will have a look later on....

yea i was hoping for abit lower, so the whole cost comes under 100 quid....

hahaha i feel embaressed now! thats 4 parts as each strip comprises 2 parts? one for door one for rear quarter

rung up 4 places now and all say it is about a hundred quid job, with 90 being the best so far

that is for, sanding, primeing, spraying, laquer, then taking off the old strips(apparently the adhesive pads can be quite tricky to do...) then fitting new ones....about a 2 hr job plus material costs (paint etc...)

may take the offer of 90...

yep thats right each side is 2 individual parts. so 4 numbers in total.

well if £90 is your cheapest go with it. i know removing the old glue is a right git to do.

yeah £90 is not too bad...Mine was around £40 for doing that and debadging but then the place has worked on 2 other cars of mine, work on my corolla gave them £900 once, so i guess they felt obliged to give me a good deal! haha :)

i want it for 40 quid!!!!!

they said material alone would be like 40 quid then itsgonna be 2 hours to sand prime and paint then take off old ones, and as it has been stated it can be a right bugger to get off the old adheisve strips....

may ring a few up see if they wld do 80 then its under 100 quid in total...

if you were female it would be £40 :p sometimes it works to our advantage haha only joking i think its coz ive put alot of work their way before and i always recommend them to peopl!

yea guess so....the guy seemed nice and its very local..he said 90 would be a squeeze and materials would be approx 35..which leaves 55 quid for labour and if its a 2 hours job thats less than 30 quid an hour..not bad

may say de-badge the ibiza bit and u got a deal! ;)

Those alloys and front bumper make such a differnce it's amazing!

If they are taking your old ones off why bother buying new ones from seat? It won't cost you any more (infact you will save £20) if you just get them to sand/prime/lacquer and refit your old ones?

would need the adhesive pads and locator pegs i presume, would consider that but dont know how much the pads would be etc.....?

because the double side tape is nackard once you take them off and you bend the moulding so it will not go back on.

like ST said its quite difficult to take them off and reuse them as you may well bend them etc.....i may try taking them off myself but the adhesive pads cause a right mess it may be worth just paying them to do a professional job, if they muck it up at least they can fix it....
