I dont have VAG-COM :( Really need to get it though.

What do I need, a cable from eBay, a laptop and the free download of the software? Couldnt send me a couple of links could you? Ill buy it now :) lol Cheers

Official site is this mate, http://www.ross-tech.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Category_Code=VAGCOM

But I don't know which one you need to order. My mate has is on his laptop and the lead you need to connect it to your car by the cigarette lighter so I use that. I will ask him bud.

There must be downloads for it, but I've not looked into it myself. I should really get it aswell tbh

That looks a bit expensive :(

I thought you could get a cable from ebay for £20 and a free copy of the software that enabled you to do the logging ?

Cheers bud. Ordered the cable, drivers and free version of the software on ebay for £8.45. If it doesn't work, it really doesnt matter for that money

Haha nice one. If it does work, I'll have the linky if you don't mind :) lol

Couldnt wait any longer to fit the Forge polished charge pipe so did it tonight

IMG00259-20101110-1620.jpg

This is the old one and how it looked before... Pretty boring...

You can see the baffled design of the original here

Replacement looks more free flowing and more shiny!!

IMG00263-20101110-1635.jpg

In progress of fitting it, brackets not on yet

IMG00265-20101110-1642.jpg

IMG00264-20101110-1642.jpg

All done! Very, very easy job to do, just a few jubilee clips and thats it really. Looks much better. All I need now are polished brackets to match the pipe and its sorted :)

IMG00266-20101110-1647.jpg

Next up was to replace the standard 007p green spring with the uprated yellow spring. So out comes the green one...

IMG00267-20101110-1648.jpg

And in goes the yellow. This should help it hold boost better.

Overall really pleased except for the slight scratches that were on the pipe when I got it

Took it out for a spin and it seems to spool quicker meaning the power is there quicker and there is a slight noise increase too I think. But its a bit hard to tell when I haven't driven it for a week

Got it from Damian @ DPM Performance :cartman:

Hmmm... Not usually a fan of stickers, and it is quite big, ill have to have a think about it. Cheers for the idea though :)

Dont think so, just thought I might as well replace it while Im at it as I read the standard one is a twisted shape and a bit restrictive. Cant do any harm can it  was only £30...

Lol fair play bud. Your replacing everything by the sound of it, again no harm though! ;)

Man I can't wait for xmas, full zorst/stage 2 map, maybe the full bush kit, shortshifter, top boost hoses, it's gona be GREAT!!! [B)] lol
