On the exhaust, good choice!! Getting mine fitted in just over a week with a stage 2 map. 3" downpipe all the way!

Nice work mate, was looking at fitting mine today but the weather diceded to come down just as I was going to dig in. Quick question, the two screws that go into the turbo housing....where have you actully screwed them into? Did you have to do it from either side etc?

Just bought the cable off ebay for £8 and installed the free version of vag com! Simples

They is a ridge on the turbo inlet that they go into, they dont have to be mega tight, just fit into that groove and hold it in place. I was surprised at the amount of space to get an allen key in there too. Didnt take long at all

Adam do you think that vag-com would work with a 2005 LCR? As it says from 1994-2004 on their ebay page...

If your wiring it CANBUS then i doubt it mate, will need a different cable i think

So I didnt like the look of the ugly washer bottle in my bay so decided to do something about it. Its the creamy coloured bottle at the bottom left of this old pic:

Went to halfords and got some matt black paint and grey primer.

Took the bottle out and gave it a good wash down

Masked it up and gave it two coats of primer and two of matt black paint

And all done! Bit of a faff getting it to go back in, and slighly scratched the back of it but you cant see it from the front.

Looks much better imo, exactly the look I wanted Coolant bottle next !!

Yeah the price is putting me off tbh, and not 100% convinced by it yet... Hoping someone has one at the amd RR meet..

Speaking of which, Adam do you fancy the rr day @ amd?
