They are very heavy cars so that's not surprising at all really. I came up against one a while ago and thought 'why not' so gave it a go. He was pulling away from me gradually, but not by as much as I thought. I think a Stage 1 LCR would be even if not slightly ahead.

Just sold a 350Z and bought the Cupra R and I am 100% convinced that with a remap the cupra r will be pretty much bang on the same as the Z.

My cupra r as standard feels quicker than the Z ever did (but that's the feel of the turbo kicking in for you)

Both great cars though.

Remap it and see;)

Will be similarly powered, but LCR is 150kg lighter than the 350 and will have more torque:)

350z = 276/268lbft and 1525Kg
LCR = 270/300lbft and 1390Kg

RWD transmission losses are also slightly higher than FWD losses, but then traction is going to be better in the 350 than what it is in the LCR :D

Well once you get that Hybrid turbo working with correct boost then you should beat one surely?

I can whip 1 now even with an under performing hybrid, got more up my sleeve than just that;)

They are nice cars, and yes with a turbo conversion in that 3500cc lump they are going to be something special:)
