Cupra Teardrop Mirror Cover Removal?????

Hi all tried searching but cant find anything, Can someone tell me the correct way of removing the mirror covers on my cupra i have the teardrop style, I would attempt but there is a right way i dont want to break them in the process!!???

I could do with knowing this too - one of my mirrors is missing a chunk (was like that when I bought the car). I'll be ordering the part to replace the broken part soon but I've got no idea how to change it!

i bileave they are jusy pushed on, you should be able to prise them off carefully with a screwdriver or something like that, the reason i know this is one of my covers has two broken clips so sometimes comes loose

THat'll teach me to read the title properly.... I didn't realise we were only talking about the cover. I need to change the part the cover's attached to.

Yeah i plan on using the cover thats on there so dont want to break it i just need it of to re spray it as i have a scuff on it! Thanks to a biker mouse from mars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
