Nowt wrong with hooning it around (its built for it :)), just not all day every day.

And as long as its maintained properly....

It must get death sometimes, it's an 18 year old lad in a 240+ hp biscuit tin haha

No point buying a car like that if you don't go for a hoon every so often haha

it only gets used for work which for him is about 2miles away, last he said to me was...i dont really use it mate.

seems to run smooth enough to me! :)

As long as he's not killed it. Would hate to think all that hard work was for nothing....

just been speeking to him actually, saw him at the shops near me so had a long chat with him, runs sweet as a nut :D we were wondering though, is it a 4bar FPR on it or just a 3?

Nick, Scott I right, it's a 3bar fpr. That's what the map is written for so tell him not to put a 4bar fpr on or it will over fuel.

Tell him I've still got the service book for it if he wants it?

alrite damoegan, are you ever through durham just been having a flick through the thread and im sure ive seen this car?

Yea, I get through to Durham every now and then. I dont own this Ibiza now though, sold it to a lad from Teeside in September last year.

I now have a mk5 Golf GTI Edition 30 :)

alright, just ive seen the cupra with the Red around the grill, im looking to buy a cupra this week and your thread has given me a lil bit to think about

It hasn't had the badgeless grill with red surround on foe about 18 months.

They are a great car, I still miss mine :(

sorry to be a pain in the arse but you know when you fitted your dump valve did you need to get it remapped? and also where did u get you badgeless grill from to start with?

The grill was a FK badgeless one, have a google for them..

No, no need to get it mapped when fitting a uprated DV. A uprated DV only means that it wont fail like the standard Bosch one can and does..
