Were could I get that push from bill?I havnt manged to get in touch with forge yet either.i refitted the actuator with my yellow spring but I drill the bung put to make the rod sit straight and secure.lucky enough it has worked.but the purpose of me doing this is so I can still drive the car.so when setting the wategate you push it in so its closed then give it a few turns?

Still Adjusting the yellow spring at the moment as its still Peaking too high..

I took a Picturs earlier of were it is and have i got this right.Im Guessing theres gonna be a sweet spot for this?

Would it be possible to say Leave the actuator and Fit my MBC and turn that to 24psi?

I had the bush made

Im Learning alot Doing this...Learning all about boost Pressure's and Rpms Ect..

Currently Chatting to Alex and He Had the same set up on his k04...He said it is currently spiking which is too high for most Turbos then it will settel out...

So im going to Undo the actuator and start again by taking up the slack with 2-3 turns then fit the mbc and set that @ 24psi....

Seems the N75 can't react fast enough but tbh i have never in my life seen a Boost gauge fly round like that...

On to my next question....This is my MBC and on the instructions is says the bottom port vent to air and either side goes to Boost vac or actuator..But doesnt boost need to push the Ball and spring up..?

MBC in question:

ones a bleed valve, ones a ball and spring mbc

ball and spring one will open at the preset pressure, bleed valve just bleeds pressure away

both are manual boost controllers technically

So should I do what Alex suggest bill wind actautor out then give it a 2-3mm tension turn then fit the mbc to 24psi....or leave it were it is 9-10psi pressure and fit mbc to 24psi...il get the unos.mbc when I get paid..

I would stop messing with it until you get a reliable ball/spring type mbc, like the unos.. and run it on actuator pressure until then. all imho of course

Yeah il have to agree i seem to be wasting my time...

I thought the tension wasn't enought or it was sticking but bother are fine,I took it off and reset it all with 2-3mm Pre load tension,so with the N75 unplugged went to 10-12psi on the gauge...

Then i tested with the n75 plugged in,It instantly went to 27psi + But soon as it did the car went in to a Lumpy peice of ****...(Bit like a Coilpack had gone) I then pulled over and turned the car off then restarted it and it was fine..

I then tested the Bleed valve on its own with the Vent port plumbed in to the tip...And it just didnt work...Lowest setting was 10psi and highest setting was 15psi so it didn't even work...

So its proven the bleed valve type on the 20vt doesnt work....So ive unplugged the N75 and running around on actuator pressure. Till i can source a decent MBC (Ball & Spring)...

Its alot of hassle for a Yellow spring this is but suppose once its sorted it will be Alot better...But i still havn't desided to run it with a n75 yet or mbc on its own...I seem to be getting mixed professional opinion

combination of an unos and n75 should be ok to clip the revo spike, accentuated by your stiffer actuator, whilst maintain part throttle control.. using the mbc as a upper limit of sorts.. clip the massive spike you must be having.
thank fcuk you have rods in there! else you would have seen engine internals by now!

Makes me Moist that does lol..

Im gonna **** it off bill and go back to a Green spring...what you reackon i never got a huge spike like im getting now...
