looking very good danny. looking foward to seeing it back on the road :D
i love the carbon coilpack cover, were did you get it from, i want one :D

I like the idea of the coilpack cover and it looks good too.
BUT
If you have a coil pack go wrong you'll need to remove the charge pipe, then unbolt the coilpack cover, then change the coil pack then refit everything.
For some this might not be a big issue, for me its too much hassle without any apparent benefits.

You can get away with only fitting it with 2 bolts or fit it with hex bolts to allow you to get a spanner in there.
But as I said, for the benefit not worth the hassle.
I've not had any heat related coilpack problems and not heard of any either.
But does look good.

danny quick question if i may

how have the brake calipers been scince you spayed them with the hallfords orange paint a vht laquer....no bubbles pickles or any thing like that...just wanting to know if there are holding up ok basicly

The charge pipe doesn't go over the rocker cover or anywere near the cf cover it goes around the back and with 2 bolts I don't see the problem o and how often does a coilpack go?
Mine does.
Just now there is a metal plate with a heat reflective piece of material attached to it for protecting the coil pack wires.
I needed to remove my charge pipe to get access to the 4 x OEM T25 Torx headed bolts which hold this in place.
Would be very surprised if your is different.

I'm not bothered either way just saying what I thought about when I seen this.

Your car, you can decide for yourself if its right for you or not.
I'm sure you'll be happy with this.

Few hours of work last night and head it rebuilt.

Looking really good mate, that bigger throttle body should free up a couple of ponies hopefully! You are really starting to explore the K04 much more, i can see you making this 300bhp!
