Good news, will you be on the phone to Awesome GTI in the morning to get another RR time booked?

Hopefully....

Fitting the New Manifold has changed the chararistic of the K04...Spools slightly later at the current time but hits you soooo Hard I can't stop Smiling..

Just Confirmed With bill that My N75 Duty is Max out ...So Like Carl Suggested the Flow is pushing the wastegate open under load...

Im going to tweak it abit more then re log it...feels nice now though

I Can't find my Foot pump anywere.

So ive Desided to wind the nut in around 2-3 turns maybe abit less....Boost is coming in earlier but Im lost for words at this current moment in time how hard the kick in the arse im getting..

It seems to be a tad later on spool up...Seems to spool up around 2.6krpm but its booming very hard at 3.6krpm...The actuator still needs bringing out more iirc to meet 24psi Peak...

If the forge green spring is softer than OEM im guessing it will need winding out more?

Defo a step in the right direction
I confused you in one of my previous posts..... the green actuator spring is a little stronger than stock. Stock one is approx 3.5 psi, preloaded to achieve approx 6psi cracking pressure. The Forge green one is around 4.5 psi without preload but the point i was trying to make is that even the Forge one requires several turns of preload to achieve the stock actuator cracking pressure of 6psi. You don't want to go OTT with the tightening though as the more you tighten the less actuator rod travel you allow which can be spikey power delivery.

Thanks Carl.

I'm currently setting my actutor till it acheives 24psi peak which what awesome set it at.my nut is near the end of the actuator rod around 4 turns left.

But dnt forget that's its shorter than the OEM.one

I was out in the Batmobile Earlier tonight for a nice little Drive plus i wanted to see how it performed with my Miner Tweak to actuator..
Its Hittings 24psi And oddly around 5600rpm it will be at 20psi (is this Right) But around 200-400rpm later it will go back up to around 24psi hold it for a Wee Bit the @ 6500rpm its at roughtly 16psi Is this right?Surely It can't flow anymore?

I know i need to log it see what its actually doing but all these figures are at a glimpse's as i was holding on at this point:d.,What Should my turbo be hitting full Boost By? the Boost Needles starts to Move @ 2krpm In 4th then around 3400rpm is @ 16psi then Just under 4krpm its @ 24psi? this correct?

Any Comments?

Could be wrong but I think that's to do with the VVT kicking in about 5500rpm, sure I read something like that somewhere. Mine does that too although mine is still on the OEM map. Not sure about where you should be on full boost by but on a stock LCR it's about 2500rpm or so.

Nice car btw, been reading this for a while but just never posted yet :)

Bit of a update on the car..

Havent used it at all for a day or 2 and tonight it wound not boost...Well it would in sense but i was @ 10psi At 4krpm...

any ideas it aint in gimp mode as it will boost alot when rev'd hard..

Are you sure when you were tightening the actuator you weren't actually slackening it.
I know you've had a lot more experience of this piece than I have but you could have had a late night brain fart and gone the wrong way??
Hose knocked off from the N75 to actuator?

Feels like a Utter Bellend...

Might have set my actuator wrong...Just spoke to john my Lever is set right at the end of the rod near the Actual Forge thing...Not the other end were ud actually put the nut on...

So its wide open at the moment..

Utter B.E.L.L.E.N.D :D
