Cheers for the comments Rich. How are you getting on with your search? I dont think the cars as complete as i'd like. A lads holiday to Malia next month has stopped me putting on Coilovers and Spacers, I'd also like a Sachs Clutch, Remap and dress the enigne with silicon hoses....the list goes on and on really! and the wallet gets emptier and well... emptier!
If you keep this low mileage I'll HAVE to buy it off you when you come to sell.

Althought a nice MK2 would be nice. As you say, you only live once, so just buy the MK2 aswell.

Never had any trouble before with the plod, get some glances as they pass though, I dont drive like a plonker and prefer to stay within speed limits so they never have any reason to stop me. I did once go through lights a bit fast and was stopped by the CID but was never questioned about the plates. I have my original plates behind (always an excuse that I was at a show and forgot to take them off!) Even went to my car 2 months ago and saw to officers looking at my tax disc, I asked was there a problem and they said they were admiring the car??
They are reflective (well the front one is! because I sprayed the rear yellow). If im ever asked what the E is i'd just say Ecosse for Scotland! lol.
Id say just make sure you keep you own plates on behind. I just attached my pressed plates with double sided sticky foam from Halfrauds
