ask them what they torqued them too? the bush's that you bought should of had the torque settings, I know eip's bush mount is 23 and 20 for some of the bolts so unsure what yours should be.

where did you get the HPA bushes? never seen them

Vagtech near me. They stock them so I thought that I'd go down today as I had the day off. They are black so look standard.

The guys down there fitted them for nowt so big thanx to them for that.

Hi,

I have a standard 1.8T 20v leon cupra. I had planned initially to change the standard suspension and go lower but as I drive a lot of winding bumpy as hell backroads day to day i've opted out of going this route as i'd rather not arrive at work with broken teeth and shellshock. Not to mention the price of decent lowering/suspension kit!

I have therefore changed tack and am now looking at budget handling solutions to allow me to concentrate my benjamens getting more BHP/Torque!!! I therefore have an S3 lower front strut brace on order as i hear these are useful kit in terms of handling.

Next, on the basis of the positive chat on dogbone mount bushes in terms of getting more grip/less work on TCS then I'm thinking this is a great value for money mod and a good option for me to go for.

right, sorry to have blabbered on, here's my question have most of those who have gone the dogbone mount bushes or full new mount changed your standard suspension and gone for new suspension/coilovers??? Or can this mod be performed with the same results on standard suspension setup???
Hope this is a sensible question btw? my heads buzzing with all the chat and debate on whats the best mods and I want to pick subtle, value for money mods that yield the best results as my budget is tight!

cheers folks,

Sat

the dog bone mount and bushes are basically to stop wheel hop, it does not fully stop the wheel hop but makes a difference, even better if you have some good tyres like the GSD 3's, if you are looking for cheapness just get the powerflex bushes and replace your old ones with these, I opted for the complete eip dogbone with bushes just for ease as I did not want to mess around with taking the old bush's off and putting the new ones in (lazy sod)

most of the guys on here will just say to get the bush's, hope this helps

p.s good mod to do especially if you have had a remap, I am still on standard suspension

if you want better handling without the arse ache.i can wholeheartedly recomend KONI FSD shocks, they replace the stock damper and are quite normal under day to day use, give the car a bit of pasty through the twisties and they stiffen up to take the extra load . just over 300 quid +fitting and vat from awesome GTI[B)] [B)]

trying to find some bushes on ebay but been typing dog bone mount seat leon but no resaults found :( anyone help??

finnaly fond some powerflex ones on awesome :D but what aret he best to go for?? dont want alot of vibration but want to make a difference to the put down ?

sam go for the ths dogbone mount. i fitted mine on the weekend at it really is ace, car stays so flat when full boost kicks in, also no vibration at all inside the car. it gets a 10 out of 10 from me :D

Cheers sam

£225 :-o i just wanna get the rubber mate and put it in myself ;) lol for the DBM any way i would like a full set like that but its abit pricey :(

no sam just buy the DBM, will cost you £50 and it will be better than any bushes you buy. i have only fitted the DBM on mine, the others i might do this weekend.

haha to slow m8 :). get the ths one, i read loads of posts saying how much better it is than just changing to polybushes. also im sure i read that the poly bushes will in crease vibration in the car.
