Now a slight trim to make it fit, so we can work out what needs shaping / fibreglassing.....

I think it will look ok without moving the exhaust tips - with the bumper shaped round them - and filled where necessary....

Even as it is in those pics, with the temporary cutouts in it, even though it's not the same colour, it's obvious that it's the way to go, IMHO.

Hmmmm....

Going to be a lot easier to fill it than make it usable. Don't really need it, do you?

I think if I was in a situation where it needed extracting rearwards, I don't think I'd be too worried about a little bumper damage. Would you agree? (Cheers Phil).

You've still got a suitable towing point back there, you just need to get some stickers made up for the back of it. Like this :

I'm heartily sick of sanding and filling this weekend . The bumper's now ready to be taken for spraying.

I had to go out to buy some more filler yesterday afternoon. I could have taken another car, but I couldn't resist a run out like this.................
