Did you take note of the milage of car when you dropped it off. To see if they've driven it around

I couldn't say the exact milage, but it makes no difference. There was some petrol missing, but I would expect them to have driven it after fixing it to make sure it was all working properly. The point is how do I prove the wheels & bumper weren't scuffed before they had it?

Every garage has a vehicle check in procedure , I work for a truck garage and I check round every vehicle that comes in and note down damage. IF they don't hey must have this argument alot and end up having to fork out occasionally.

Well I've not updated this thread for a while, so I might as well fill you guys in.
You might have noticed I removed the poll from this thread (thanks m0rk) I managed to get my alloys refurbed courtesy of Drue1 and decided to go for anthracite. It's kind of come out like a dark grey, but I like this as it's different.
I also painted the badges (rear one's not done yet) in anthracite and the mirrors. I decided to paint the chrome mirror covers that came with the car which I had lying about so I can put them back to black if I don't like it, which I think I might do.
Also thanks to MrWookie for the carbon engine cover and green panel filter, I've not got the filter on yet, but the engine cover went on yesterday.
I've also got a SEAT parcel shelf tray thingy which is great (pics to come), I've removed the fogs which were completely obscuring the side mounts and I've also been replacing a few tired bits here and there like the numberplate light holders, strut tops, HID bulbs, LED sidelights and other miscellaneous bits.

Off to the land of roundabouts on Saturday to see Nick and steal his guages and pillar pod too

Wheels are looking nice. I've been trying for over a year to get D.K to do his mirrors in the same colour.
Yeah it was easier for me since I had the chrome covers lying around, I don't think I'd actually paint over the stock ones in case I wanted to put them back.
I still need to lacquer over them actually, they don't have the right finish at the moment. I was kinda in a rush to get them done for the National.
Anyway, thanks for the comment, glad you like them mate.
got mine for £30 inc postage, I think the ones that are £70 come with the umbrella, first aid kit and all the gubbins. Have a look on Ebay.
