right, made a start on giving the engine bay a spruce up today, started by getting some cable tidy to cover up fuel lines and other non - vacuumable lines!
heres a few pics, i know there's a few more to do, but still point out what needs to be done! next im starting with vac hoses, but need to know the I.D for them?(help!)
next i will be polishing the inlet, rocker cover and intercooler pipe and buying a strut brace, and im gonna fabricate a decent battery cover and wash tank cover. Any advice will be appreciated, hope you like :cartman:

the flames were NOT drawn by me by the way!!! and im aware that the rest of the engine bay is filthy - as is the car...

For anyone interested iv given the link for the hose - some are a tight fit and have to be placed well! Not looking forward to the next lot - my hand are pretty shredded already! lol! Thanks for the comments people, ill keep updating.

Turbo-Boy: the engine bay is clean"ish" not exactly show standard though! and why didnt you convince darren to get blue forge tip? iv now got to get a blue one and have the hassle of changing it!!

well they are protected from the elements now! and they are split right down the centres of the covers, all i will have to do is snip the cable ties off!

fair enough......thats all i needed to know as im just starting to make mine look a bit more pleasing to the eye, just wanted confirmation that they're hassle free really.

yeah im thinking of red also......already done vac hoses in red, waiting for my tip to be fitted which is also red so i may as well carry on with the red theme i spose.
