My Fr shocks where sachs, the courtacy car i had a few months ago (1.2 sx had sachs shocks, so im affraid im sure that the whole ibiza range has sachs as OE parts.
The seat sport kit that Mrcoyote had on his ibiza (now my mates) has sachs shocks.
Kyle's ibiza also has sachs shocks the same as mine are now.
Think you might be wrong on this one andy_gordon

I thought they were all Sachs but all had different ratings and were colour coded to the model IRC looking at ETKA.

quick question...

Did you just take the shocks and springs? or did u take the bottom arms and subfame aswell?

Mike

I just needed shocks and springs. I didn't need to change the wishbones or engine subframe. The ARB is also the same, although i am probably going to change to a Cupra one soon :D

After driving the car for about a week on the Cupra setup, i have found the ride to be harder than the Tdi Sport suspension, but the better handling far outweighs the negative!!

Well just to let you know that the cupra has different arms and subfame for better handling and as for the ARB dont go for the cupra one, try and get a FR ARB cos its around 9mm thicker than the cupra one.. (dont know why but it is)

I thought the Cupra was the biggest and the others were 18/19/21mm or there abouts:confused: 9mm is a big difference, but why does the lower model have a bigger ARB

Dont know where the hell you got that info mate but its wrong.According to the official Seat web site Ibiza 1.9 TDI 100hp 18mm ARB, 130hp 19mm ARB, 160hp 20mm ARB.Click on the link and then click 1.9 TDI and see. http://www.seat.com/com/generator/su/com/ibiza/site/facts/techtables/main.html
The Skoda Fabia is 20mm and £30 which fits the ibiza dont know what the seat cupra ARB price is.
