I accidentally removed fuse no 14 - additional engine heating. And now I have a CEL and flashing glow plug light. Any ideas what I've done?

I think a flashing glow plug light is a faulty brake light switch issue

Generally I would agree but i'm sure it was down to me pulling a fuse

VAG-COM says engine speed sensor. Have cleared the code. Will see what happens
