In front of a PC....
Passenger side fell off the other night just after Al told me to take them off :censored:
Its all his fault I tell ya. Going to order 2 sets for the front I think and keep one set on standby.

Just got around to checking out any posts on this subject - Seat dealers must be rubbing their hands with all the money they will get from Seat owners with body kits!

both of my jacking covers fell off during the cold spell. unfortunately, one was lost completely and the other was reversed over as i was leaving for work one morning!

Need to get a quote for replacements now. Any idea of cost?

Lost one of mine early Dec. dealer quoted £90 to replace !!
I am still in 'discussion' with them considering they supplied the car and the kit.
Its a design fault, bits should not be flying off, mine hit a car behind on motorway, driver was not happy. Sticking bits on with cable ties and tape? don't accept that its not right!!
Any other parts and there would be a recall.
Next step will be letter to motoring press.

I drilled a hole at both sides of the jack point covers and two small holes on the side skirt and then put a cable tie threw each hole, i done this months ago and they haven't moved since.

I have lost the drivers side front (awaiting replacement) and have now taped the passenger side front - no snow around here to cause the problem - just a poor design.

Are the rear covers likely to come off also or are they a better fit - can't see how to tape them without being able to see the tape.

Rua1r1 - Did you do your rear covers with cable ties also or just the fronts?

I just cable tighed the front ones, the back seem to be ok, the design flaw is just with the front (i think). I would definitely recommend you cable tigh them it will save all the hassel of replacing them over and over again.

Leon Side Skirts

I had the same problem with mine the Jacking points kept coming off. SEAT replaced them under warranty.

Also has anyone had problems with the rear of the K1 Side skirts breaking and cracking?
