That is Karls one. Huge potential in that car. Cant wait to get a passenger ride in it once its on full boost!!!
If I'm in that one can you post it up or email me it when you get time i still got so much to do to it, its still on a std clutch as soon as i turned up the boost it was slipping and blowing boost pipes off everywhere
i thought from your earlier posts that it was silver? i did speak to you on the day but didnt know it was this one off here though

also did you see the lime green golf!that's got some huge potential,ran a low 11sec pass on a run in map apparently
The 11.25 pass was missing 2nd and 3rd gear on the low boost 1.3bar map (525hp on a dyno dynamics). After various different launch attempts it came to light there was a gearbox issue confirmed by the fact the box got noisier and noisier on the way home that evening.
Mon morning there was a puddle of clutch fluid underneath the gearbox, and after having drained the gearbox oil and seeing no swarf our suspicions lie with the clutch release throwout bearing of the triple clutch hopefully being at fault.
Engine and box are coming out tonight/tomorrow to confirm and change the clutch release throwout bearing.
So Karl was actually changing gear when the revs where correct for the synchromesh to line up in the box as the clutch was pretty much non functional during the quarter mile runs he did.

I know its been some time and i aint done no updates. well a bit of a update i got a clutchmaster fx700 on the way so im going to put my w/m back in next week and then hit the dyno b4 i go VAG fest @ santa pod
