My brother has an SLR i'm sure he could take some nice pics ( it's just a hobby hes no pro ). Still plan to put a 1.8 in some time?

hoping to get the 1.8 LCR BAM engine fitted in the summer. Got chance of one just now for £1k out an octava VRS sitting at 240 bhp. Everything needed for a conversion

1k seems good for what i'm guessing will be over 100bhp gain on what you have now? My clutch alone is going to be £800 ;(

If you have the cash mate it would be great and i'm guessing you could help with the fitting if not do most of it?

can do it all myself mate. dont need to worry about labour. would be going up from 75bhp standard to 225bhp minimum. extra 150bhp

whos doing your clutch? want me to do it for you? can get you the parts discounted aswell through my work? just let me know. would be a good wee homer for me. can do you it alot lot less than £800 aswell (Scott just told me its an uprated clutch your putting in, so forget about the parts discount lol)

awesome looking car btw, always had a soft spot for the golf

Cheers Stefan, we both have a "virtual daylight" HID kit. pretty sure its a 6000k kit. Once fitted, I would never even dream of going back to standard headlight bulbs

I like what you've done with your Golf! I've never seen one in that colour before. The photoshoot pics are amazing. I'd really like some photos of my car like that.

interior recolour for my Leon was only about 60 quid for all the A, B, C and rear roof trims - i picked up the visors and alarm/courtesy and grab handles up off ebay for another £50 :)

i got the roofliner done for nothing from an upholsters. The Golf anniversary came with black interior so probably just buy the pillar trims.

Thanks Altech, it is a pretty rare colour. some like the colour, some dont. Just wanted to be a bit different and then jazz it up a bit. Wheels badly need refurbed for the next photoshoot so they will be done next then the coilovers

the Ultra 'virtual daylight' kits are 8000k but are some of the best kits i have seen, 2 yr warranty too

they do a cracking H4 bi-xenon kit too

Looking good! :)

One thing i'd consider doing is painting the 2 front grille slats black...make it look even more mean! Also maybe get the exhaust tips changed for bigger ones....they look a bit like pea shooters atm! lol
