i will be going to Jabba on the 14th to donate by calipers and carriers to Mike so he can upgrade to 312mm while i go for the mamoth ECS Stage 5, heres a photo to put it into perspective, (look at the guys hands) they are 14" disks :D

oh and i thought it would look out of place with uprated fronts and standard rears so ive gone for the ECS Stage 1 rear brake kit.

I didn`t know Jabba sold ECS stuff. AwesomeGTI sell that kit for 1250 + VAT for my car. Very nice looking kit but i went for the RS6 8 pot kit.

i spoke to Awesome and including fitting for ECS 5 front and ECS 1 rear jabba came out cheaper so i have given them my custom,
you had to go one better with the 8pots lol, i would of been fine with the stage 2v2 4 pots but they 6pots really fill the wheels and look lush so i had to get them for the wow factor. you got a pic of your monsters?

8 POTS!!!!! Do you need harnesses to stop your self from going through the windscreen when you stand on the middle pedal, lol! Bet they feel awesome! :D

This is probably gonna sound a silly question, but cant you just fit the Cupra brakes to the 130 for a healthy increase in stoppage?

Or do they work out more?

(and 8 pots F*** me!)

You would need bigger wheels, as the AP racing calipers are massive, if you look at a cupra, the wheels only just clear the caliper, and the centers stick out beyond the edge of the wheel rim! To fit them you would need at least 17's and spacers so they would clear the calipers!!!

haha 8pots devonmikey you truely are a legend hahaha if you ever think of selling pm me lol

Believe me mate you don`t want them. When i was looking for a big brake set up ECS didn`t do a kit to fit my car. I can across this.

Spoke to AMD straight bolt on, no spacers, no problem to fit.....
All i can say is AMD are lying basstards [:@]. One set of custom hoses from Goodridge ( you don`t want to know the price ) and a now sorting out for my car to go to a bodyshop to have some wheel arch extensions made since you have to fit 20mm wheel spacer to get the caliper to fit which put the wheel outside the wheel arches . If i was going to buy a brake kit now i would get the ECS kit but i have spent so much time and effort pissing about to get this kit to fit i am determined to get it to work now but it has been a dam nightmare.

not been funny but i think the brakes on my 130tdi are pretty good! it has been re-mapped and forge fmic but in 2 weeks is booked into allards for a stage 3 conversion. think it wil be time for a brake upgrade, which would you suggest? the 312mm conversion or just find a crashed cupra?

Hi there mate to be honest jabba think i'm running about 205bhp but they aren't really sure well if they are they didnt tell me lol but its booked in on the 13th for a re-map as they were having problems with it, but in the meantime i have been speaking to Chris at P.I Fuel systems about a propane injection kit and he has said i should see somewhere between 20-30% power increase i'm not sure how strictly true that is i suppose devonmikeyboy would shed some light on that as he reccommended them to me ;) so should be getting that within the next 2 months :) but i will let you all know how it goes also having big breakes fitted on the 14th
