Help needed - need part no. for cupra R centre console gauge holder!

anyone used the Cupra R guage holder without ruining the dash?

If so what gauges have they used?

yea! I need to know too! Pref Red / matching the Dials... I have ordered the gauge holder.. £6.78.. sweet...

Also going for the Nomad... £72 is a bit steep in it!! .. I guess they are made in lowish numbers hence the price...

Do you leave the rubber matt there?? presumably not

Need to know what guages fit without modification and look the best?

The best looking gauges IMO are the new Autometer phantom 2's and they even backlight just like the originals:

As for whether the bottom of the cubby hole needs modifing for these gauges, no one will know as you will be the first to use them.

I got an oil temp gauge to go in mine, need to get another gauge, not sure what yet. I have boost and oil pressure in the nomad pillar.

I've got autometer ultra-lite, with proper wide angle LED's, nice and bright and look good.

I'v just ordered the phantom II boost gauge and nomad single pod piller... (haven't even picked the car up yet..lol... next Wednesday cannot come soon enough!) will be fitted as soon as I get it home.

Might eventually add oil pressure and temp in the Cupra R mount... it was only £6 from SEAT so if I don't use it no bother. (trying to restrain myself from modding yet another car).

The phantom II lights up white as standard... anyone know exactly which LED I need (link??) to change it too red... or am I the phantom II guanee pig?

Where did you get the gauge from and how much?
When you have fitted it could you please post some day time and night time photos up, preferably not taken with a mobile phone.

Ordered the Phantom II from Summitracing.com - £47 inc postage (not bad I thought... Real Steel wanted £40 for the shipping and £50+ for the guage!)...

Will post pics once it's all in...

Only getting it as I have only test driven the car (about 4 miles with the traction control on)... and it didnt feel like 156BHP to me - so want to make sure it's boost right... also bought the VAG-Com cable from Ebay (£6.50)...

My punto GT had 150bhp ish and felt LOTS faster.

And as its an ibiza, its probably broke anyway.

just got my centre guage pod through, looks like theres 2 screw holes at the top of it. Anyway, thought id go an test it, and it just pushed into place, its a pretty snug fit and i dont think i will be fixing it in place. il get a pic up later.
