Where does everyone put their phone, fags, house keys etc when the pod is in place?? I find the centre console too valuable at the mo to warrant the pod....unless i started using the glove box for holding things, which is what its designed for i spose...lol

gaz....one good thing the ibiza is good for is the amount of little pockets u can stick rubbish, sun glasses go by the drivers knees, spare change goes in the card holder by TCS and heated glass button, wallet and phone down in the door card slot and anything else in the glove box.

although...house keys....lol just attach em to the car keys? :cartman:

The Boost gauge came with small diameter boost tubing and a T piece to plumb into you boost point, I used the top of the diverter valve. The oil temp gauge came with a temp sender which is the correct size for the Ibiza.
Both gauges came with backlighting bulbs, but I bought some red leds and fitted them to mine instead. The photos don't do the dials justice as in the daytime the needles are orange not red as shown, the night time photos make dials look hard to read but this is again just the photo.

You will need to supply your own wire and spade connectors though.
I took all my electricity supplies from the back of the headlight switch, but you could use the illumination from the ashtray. You will need an inline fuse holder and fuse for the oil temp gauge. Fitting the oil temp sender is very awkward, very difficult to get to and not much room to manoeuvre.

I did cut the bottom of the cubby hole out, as when the boost pipes and wires were fitted the bottom of the cubby hole prevented the gauges from seating properly. I found this out just as I thought I had finished, so was starting to lose patience. I don't intend to remove the gauges before selling the car so don't see it as a problem.

Some makes of gauge are shorter though, if you don't want to butcher your cubby hole.

I think the Cupra R and the Sport models come with VDO gauges as stock but they are black faced.
VDO do make white faced dials though, if you want to match the original clocks. Have a look on demon tweeks website, just noticed though that there is no oil temp in white, but there is oil pressure.
The indicator needles are identical to the original clocks as well.

Back to Autometer gauges this pdf shows how deep they are, 52mm diameter is 2 1/16", being 3" deep approx.
