35 now, bought my current mk2 FL Cupra when I was 29, bought my mk1 LCR when I was 24.

I'm lurking about here on the Mk3 side because I'm tempted by the idea of getting one.

Been a while since I've been on here but since I picked up a monsoon grey Cupra 290 (66 plate) a few weeks ago, here I am.

37 now. First car at 18 was an R reg Arosa 1.0. Had 12 cars since (all SEAT) but I'll never forget that Arosa.

Me, I'm 53 and got the Cupra 300 4drive on 3rd March. Decent car - well built comfortable, good to drive but by no means the best.

My other car is a Nitrous Blue Focus RS MK3 with Mountune 375 kit and lowered (and before anyone jumps on the head gasket issue - mines on 22k and not a problem) - RS is a whole lot more characterful to drive, but the Cupra is without a doubt quick, just nowhere near as surefooted - of course carrying a family of 4 and luggage in the RS is not remotely possible.

56 and Cupra tdi is slowest car of the mad bunch. Agree with LouG. Never too old for the internal combustion engine. Please bring me more horsepower...

38, but that's a lot higher than my wifes opinion of my mental age :clown: picked up the ST 300 4Drive yesterday, the benefit of being slightly older is that my insurance only took a €27 jump for the remaining 10 months of my policy, just changed from a vRS oil burner 184, so not too bad.

34 with a 280 DSG, was 33 when I bought it. It is my first hot hatch and I don't intend on going back from here...

Would have loved one ten years or so ago but longer commute to work and finance deals not being what they are today meant I drove diesels for about 12 years.

33, Yesterday Im receive my ST 300 4Drive DSG. I came from Audi TT 2.0TFSI S-Tronic so very small car to this "family" wagon :)

I’ll be 64 in a couple of weeks, so not quite the oldest.
