Hi mate, congrats on the installation! I am planning to buy a Pioneer AVH-P4100DVD, I suppose that the same procedure you use in your JVC radio will work with this radio, I hope. if you could send me the pictures too will be a great help! thanks mate.

Hi mate i have the pioneer fitted to my car sound quality is amazing.
you will need a mini plug though not an rca plug for the bluetooth connection , i got mine from maplins 79 p i think.
any problems give me a shout.

I've been doing my homework and doing a lot of research on the web, and this is what I need to install an AVH-P4100DVD radio:

- CA-R-PI.221v3 IP Bus adapter for the steering control
- 12.301328-03 Facia 2 din adapter
- CD-IU200V 2 meter cable for the ipod (I read that the model CD-IU50V could be too short)

now, the problem is the radio antenna. I don't know which connector I should use, does anybody know what kind of antenna conector interface has the car? 14P245 (active) or 14P235 (passive)?? this is the only thing I cant figure out. thank you for your feedback.

You'll need the active aerial connector as the Seat aerials need a power source that the standard head unit supplies.

i got all my connectors from the web
i will post up here where i got them from and the prices , ref the i pod cable it all depends really where you want to mount it?
mine is mounted upside down under the the passenger footwell covering under the dash and secured with velcro , so i can still get it in and out without it being on show.

Great mate! thanx a lot. now the only problem is that I live in Peru, so I will have to figure out how to import this things from there. I already bought by ebay the facia adapter, I put the order a few days ago, so I think I will have to wait couple of weeks to arrive. thanx a lot Rob for your help.
