ibiza 20vt boost problem

Hi guys duno if any1 has experienced this before. well my car on full throttle doesnt seem to accelerate very well but on half throttle when it comes on boost it takes off like rocket and feels like 200bhp but when its on full throttle feels like 120bhp!!

can anybody help??

MAf on its way out, log it, and you'll probably find it aint pulling high G's

I'd say thats possibly the problem, if someone has a good one, you can swap and retry their's to prove it.

It may be worth swapping the plugs if they aint been done aswell, BKR7's from www.sparkplugs.co.uk for about £2 each, is what i've got.

i'v not long done them bout 2k ago but it had the problem ever since i've had it

Check the coil packs arent damaged, but also check the state of the plugs and the gapping on them. Get someone to log the MAF (to check the flow) and also I believe you can check the plugs with Vagcom, but i'm unsure on how to do it.

try unplugging the maf and go for a short run...if it feels much better with the maf unplugged, then it's screwed.
