Ibiza cupra 3rd brake light

Probably a really stupid question but how easy isit to change the brake light in the spoiler. Mine isn't working although there is power in the feed to the light. I don't want to bust the spoiler if it isn't meant to come out

Can anyone help please?

I can't remember if it does come out mate but you remove the spoiler by undoing the nuts on the boot when its open, you will see what i mean when you open the boot. Think there are three, one either end and one in the midle behind the black bung.

Once they are off you need to gently but firmly prise the spioiler off as its held on with 2 badass clips

Then you can go from there with the brake light...

Mine hasnt worked in the past year since i bought the car, been meaning to look at it but theres always been something more important im working on. Berkshirebugs, where did you check the power feed to the light? Also, does anyone know if the 3rd brakelight has its own fuse or if its linked in with the other lights?

It's a right pain. You need a really long screwdriver. I noticed it when I was spraying mine so just masked it off.

Look in your boot, near the top there is two black caps, take them off, remove the nuts. Spoiler will then clip out.

Then look at the brake light and you will see what I mean.
