Ibiza Cupra delivery times

If anyone wants to buy a candy white Ibiza Cupra, I ordered one back in July and it is due within the next 2 weeks but I have changed my mind. I have paid a deposit to the dealer but they have said if i can point a buyer in their direction, they will refund my deposit. I have to give Dannydp first option but if anyone else is interested please let me know just in case he isn't.

Thanks Bickers70, spoke with my dealer today just to find out what the crack was with me changing from the car i have on order to the one you have. Turns out my dealership in Stoke and yours are the same people. They called about the car and were told your salesman was off today but they think the cars been offered to another customer already awaiting a Cupra, this wasn't for sure though so their gonna let me know tomorrow.

Just a thought, not sure what you told them when you canceled but maybe the person they were talking about was me anyway.

I know plus Stoke Seat told me the cars expected in 1 week I'll just have to wait and see now, really hoping i don't have to wait 12 weeks.

Hi Danny,

My salesman rang me today.
I think the problem is that although the dealers are owned by the same person, he wants the sale for his commission and it seems yor salesman also wants the commission.

The bottom line is, you want the car and I want my deposit back.

I've just spoken to my dealer in Wolverhampton.
Apparently my (old) car has arrived there. He says if you ring Graham in sales on 01902 714503, he will expect your call and you can have the car next week!

He says he will speak to the people at Stoke.

As I said before all I want is my deposit back and all you want is the car. The two dealerships can fight it out between them.

I ordered an Ecomotive Candy White Ibiza SC on August 31st. Was told to expect it by the end of October, with week build 41. Now been pushed back to week build 49.. and expect it mid December. I can't see it being this side of Christmas now to be honest, I am quite frustrated by this to say the least...

I'd speak to your dealer again as I've just been and seen my cupra, it came in to the dealer yesterday and i'm picking it up on Monday, It was supposed to be a demo car but they sold it to me as I wanted it ASAP!

Happened in liverpool too. Annoying never actually got to drive the Bocanegra as its been sold. Still sitting in the show room 2 weeks later though!

Heard a little bit of good news today some of the Sporty Seats Fr, Cupra, Bocanegra, are arriving early the dealership in Wolverhampton had a car come in which they didn't expect for another month yet

Car manufacturers are amazing. They whinge when no one buys cars. When people do buy cars, they get told they have to wait for 14 weeks. Incredible.

I was promised a candywhite Ibiza 1.6tdi sport at the end of october (ordered in september), I have since been told the build week is week 49, so I will be lucky to see it this side of christmas....I daren't ask what year!

The most annoying part is this was a dealer showroom car, so the paperwork had already been submitted, although I emphasize with the Seat dealer, its no good to me when im car-less.

Just hope its worth the wait. I suppose they did let me thrash a Boc one saturday morning!

Just to cheer you up a little more ibizacv my car also on order was a showroom car, I was told last by my dealer that Seat had put all dealer orders to the back of the list to catch up with customer orders Looks like me and you are in the same boat.

if that happens, i would insist that it is registered with the new plate, I think i mentioned this to the dealer and he nonchalantly told me to put a private plate on it!
Luckily for him, he was not the salesman that had sold me the car, otherwise i would have exchanged expletives!

I did visit the dealer again on saturday gone, they offered me an apology and a refund, he even hinted that i would get a token of thanks from them, but im not holding my breath...
