Ibiza PD160 Air Intake Fit Leon Mk1 PD130

Hi Guys,

I posted this on the Leon forum but have had no responses and have just realised there is a diesel forum!! Sorry to repost.

Just to put you in the picture - I've got a 54 plate Mk 1 Seat Leon PD130 TDi.

My mate's got a Skoda Fabia vRS PD130 TDi - he's installed a PD160 air intake from the Ibiza ready for his stage one remap.

I was looking into getting the PD160 air intake also for my Mk 1 Leon ready for a stage one remap. Jon (who owns the vRS) had a look under my bonnet and he thinks it's in a funny place to install.

Do we know if the PD160 Ibiza air intake will fit my PD130 Mk 1 Leon?

Any help would be great.

Nope, it will not fit, you have the snorkal air feed the opposite side in between the battery and the wing going to the back of the headlight

yep correct. You also dont need it as the intake on the Leon is more than suitable. The ibizas need the change as the 130 intake is small compared the 160 PD fitted to the IC TDI.

Should be, but to get the most out of the set up, take the plastic air feed out and put a cold air feed 3" from airbox to foglight. Smooth out the airbox too

yep. you dont have to do what brad says but if you want every last bit out of it, and also have spare time then you can do what he says for a little improvement.
