Not for the RVC
Yeah I know it's not gonna be for an RVC but there's only one blue connector block in the quad lock and it's got 2 eronious wires in it. To install the RCA cable block I'd need to remove the one that's there and put in the RVC one but I'm concerned I'd be removing something that's required

Pin 1 and 7 , the wires that are already there I believe are the mic wires and as Antera says pin 6 and 12 are the ones you need. Don't remove anything
But I'll need to remove the connectors from the block that came with the RCA cable converter to then insert them into the existing block so not as simple as taking the blue block out of the quad lock and putting in the replacement.

Without seeing your wires it's difficult to say but I made a little loom with a female connector for video cable and then the 2 pins to go in the blue connector, as a wiring test mock up to make sure everything works it shouldn't take more than 30 minutes, when you know it all works spend the time feeding the wires neatly

Camera installed and working, thanks to this thread! Only issue I have is relocating the 2 wires from my blue connector block into the blue connector block carrying the RCA signal. I have the terminal removal tools but can't work out which one to use and also how to use it. I have attached some pictures of the block for info.

So my joy was short lived. The camera was working as it should, although did have the 'park pilot not available' message after changing from reverse gear. This didn't bother me too much, however now the camera is not showing on the MMI screen as it had been. When going into reverse, the screen comes on for the RVC but no picture is showing. Anyone with an idea? I did read earlier in the thread about using a switched live for power, unsure if this is what I've spliced Into by splicing into the power wire for the reverse light. The camera came with the filter box, which I have fitted also - per instructions to the reverse light power.

I drew a power from the fusebox and connected the reverse light wire to the little black box and then joined that to the trigger wire on video lead, may have been overkill as I know you can just take the power from reverse light with the little black box, I would check wiring again in case a connection has come loose but it could also be a faulty camera, I bought one off Amazon in the end.

Thanks mate, fixed the wires and it works. However, the camera doesn't show when the engine is running 🤦🏻‍♂️ if the ignition is on but engine not running then it's fine. When you start the engine, it goes black. Thinking I might need to disconnect the filter and see if that's the issue.

It could be that or your live wire isn't live when the engine is running, where did you take the live from? You can connect both lives from the black box so that powers it, that might be a good test or you could temporarily connect it to battery for main power as a test, I'm guessing it's the fusebox live that's the issue but it's only a guess

I took the live from the reverse light, which appears to be the issue. I've ordered a new relay so will hopefully get that fitted tomorrow and see if that works. If it doesn't, I'll try battery main power.
