Intake Temp & SMIC Question.

Now after having a spirited drive thought the gears (off road), Then slowed, Then planted the throttle thought the gears a 2nd time the car didnt seem to pull aswell before.

Now the car is a 130PD with a remap. Now could this be from the intake temps getting to high thus making the turbo being toned down. Would taking the fog light out help with cooling the SMIC?.

Thanks.

Tank was right near the light coming on. But it didnt dead, It was pulling still but felt like it wasnt pulling as hard and took the age off. I know my mate had a similar problem with the intake temps but his resulted in limp mode which mine doesnt.

i believe the smic doesn't like external temperatures above 21 degrees...not enough cool air getting to it, and engine heat also doesn't help the fact

so yes, during the summer and on spirited drives don't expect such good performance from the FR's
