Engine Cover

Finally got my engine bay cover sprayed and painted how i like.

Looking pretty snazzy took a lot of work to remove the S badge flatten & sane the dome, fill it, sand again. Just need the battery box now and to paint my bottle covers red

that field your parked next to i cut that in a tractor in the summer every other week lol,i have to drive from bexhill at 30mph all the way going as fast as i can,driving a tractor pushed me in to getting a cupra not only that ive wanted one for the past 4 or so years. i like the engine cover are you going to do the 20vt in red or leave it?

@damoegan - airbox lit is almost certain, not sure the intake pipe can be done though as it flexes?

@cupra.al - yer that field belongs to the primary school, i regularly drive past there during the summer, it is about a 2 minute walk from there to my house, let me know when you are next in the area. Would be good to meet up. I might have a got at doing the 20VT in red, but i don't want to balls the rest of it up

@Aimez - I used gloss black and then 2 layers of laquer. Cam up quite well, can see a few imperfections if you look really hard.

Finally got my 312mm brakes fitted.

yer much better, takes a little while to warm up, got dot 5.1 fluid in, so takes a little bit of use before optimal tempreture. but much better i think. Going to try and flog my 288mm somewhere, they are up in the for sale section
