Cheers. It's something different which is what I wanted. Was going to go for black wheels but everyone has them now a days!!
Seem to have been bitten by the modifying bug again as have ordered a badge less grill and a set of Heko wind deflectors. Am also looking into purchasing an open cone filter for mine as well at some stage and am also looking into a fly eyes kit to tint the lights on my car, giving it a meaner look.

Looks great. I would definitely recommend the FlyEyes, Black headlights and some orange fogs maybe to match the wheels 
Heko wind deflectors turned up yesterday and as im not working today or tomorrow decided to make use of the nice weather and fit them and give my car a good wash! Has been in need of it for a while but due to having a broken hand and a cast up to my elbow its not been looking too good recently!
Anyway, enough talk, time for photos:
Quite pleased with the deflectors, passenger side went in easy but the drivers side was a bitch to fit...no idea why!!
Still awaiting my badgeless grill and have also ordered a shortened set of drop links which should turn up soon as well.
How easy is it to remove the front grill?? have had a look and can see the 2 'pins' on the top. do they just get pulled out and then slide out the grill??

My badgeless grill turned up this morning so got straight out of bed and fitted it!
After wiping 6 years worth of dirt out of the grill!

Something else I forgot to post the other day was that I have removed the sound deadening from the bonnet and re-fitted my engine cover. Had to trim it slightly to cater for the strut brace:

Booked the car in this morning for a Stage 1 remap at AmD as am quite used to the standard power of the car. Quite happy with the results, car pulls better and can hear the turbo whistle a lot more! 
Before:
Power - 170.2hp
Torque - 162.6lb/ft @ 4294rpm
After:
Power - 205.4hp
Torque - 237lb/ft @ 3924rpm

Cheers!! My car came up at 170bhp as standard which as far as I no is 10bhp short of standard! :-s am happy with the results though, pulls well and the turbo whistle is quite addictive!!
Yeah was me, used to play down there with the lot I was watching but stopped ages ago. When did you get your Cupra?? Have had mine for 6 years and probably only ever seen 3 or 4 around

Got mine January this year. Looks the same as urs before it was lowered and oranged up lol. Gonna go amd soon for the stage 1. Did you notice a big difference when you got urs mapped?

Not had much of an update in a while but lots of news from the last week to add to this now!!
1. Milltek cat-back exhaust!
Bought a Milltek cat-back exhaust off of a friend over the weekend! Was ideally after a turbo back exhaust but this exhaust was off of a diesel Cupra so the downpipe was different! So ordered a de-cat pipe which arrived this morning!!
and has been booked in to get fitted tomoro! Cant wait!

2. AmD Rolling Road Day - 7.4.2013
Went along to the AmD RR day with a few people as been meaning to go to these before but work has always got in the way!! Was a good day and where some lovely cars there!! Took her onto the RR to see what improvements had been made since she was last there with just a stage 1 map (205.4bhp and 238ft/lb torque) as she has now got a SFS TIP and Pipercross induction kit as well as the replacement Forge upper boots pipe! Was hoping for 220bhp and 250ft/lb torque! From the 2 runs she rolled in at 215bhp and 246ft/lb torque and 219bhp with 244ft/lb torque! Was happy with this although i was expecting a little more torque! Would of been nice to have the exhaust fitted as well before hand but hey ho!

3. Custom Throttle body Intake Pipe
I have been trying to get hold of a replacement standard throttle body intake pipe as i am wanting to get one custom made in orange so it matches the rest of the scheme of my car/engine! Forge wanted 40% on top of the £60 they charge for the replacement pipe they do to have it in any colour! A friend of mine put me in cotnact with a company called JS Performance who will charge me £40 to have it made in any colour i want! :thumbsup: Only thing is it will take them 2 weeks but im happy to wait for it! Photos of this will be up as and when it is made as we all know what a standard pipe looks like!!
