Changed over all the brakes Saturday.....I couldn't move sunday and im still in pain today  Brakes feel good though and the Pagid stuff is real top quality....highly recommend the brand.

God knows what locktight Ed used on the rear spacer bolts but it took a jack handle on the end of a wrench and brute force to undo them.

Oil and brake fluid this weekend.......hopefully the sump plug likes me this time.

I'm having a bad day!

Just been for a new tyre and whilst being fitted a stack of tyres fell over and hit the wing. I now have a small dent, im waiting on a dent guy to give me a call to fix it now.

Just been to collect my top mounts from a certain large parts supplier and there not in.....they said they would be first thing. Also, I ordered some bits on-line and they are not here yet either. I've had the day off work to fit all these bits too!

Waaah!

They have sorted for a dent bloke to do it, just waiting for him to call me to arrange the date. Could have had it done Saturday but it was in for an MOT up in Telford. I'll get a picture if I get time.

On a brighter note, it did pass its MOT. One adivsory on the loud exhaust

I fitted some Puma drop links after a date with a cutting disc and they have made a massive difference, front end sounds alot more solid.....if that makes sense. Ball joints on the old ones were shot.

He couldn't get to it as he would like so is going to organise with the tire place to have it on a ramp with the archliner stripped out. He said the dent would come out no problem but its the shallow damage underneath that might not. I was a bit annoyed but as he said, most people would like it done as best as possible under the usual car park ding situation, but as its the tyre places fault it should be bang on. Getting annoyed with it all now :(

Dents now sorted, couldn't tell it was there. Not overly happy with how the tyre place dealt with it all though.

Got a small issue of coolant loss now, the seals on the pipes into the bulkhead have gone. Fingers crossed I can pick some up tomorrow. In the mean time I'm rolling in my old mans Mondeo ST Tdci, much nicer place to be than the Ibiza......not as pokey though :)

Fixed....Finally!

Had fun completing what should have been an easy job, I've also got a nice bruise on my chest from one of those hose clamps springing out off my pliers. It was the big one from the airbox, bloody dangerous things! I did swear

Also fitted the reduced EGR gasket as Jimski did, not had a chance to drive it properly yet but the engine light hasn't popped up.

Also also, I ended up fixing the Mondeo I borrowed. New EGR unit sourced from Jaguar with a massive £140 saving over the same Ford part and its sorted....mental that the premium brand is much cheaper. Gutted to give it back really, makes you realise how bad a ride the Ibiza is.

Next update to come when something else falls off, or when I paint the wheels, whichever comes first :)
