No point messing with 8v unless theres a very cheap way of adding a bit of forced induction.
If I can get the bits I need to pass the MOT cheap enough I'll get it on the road and hit some tracks as it is. If not I might just break it up, save up and get something without a roof. I really don't know what to do

The missus has a 1.6 mk2, fantastic car, I've just been to the shops in it Shes hoping to sell it soon, I'd consider buying it but I'd want the 1.8.
