Wheel painting/powder coating - North West UK

Guys,

I'm thinkin it's about time I had my standard wheels redone black, I've enjoyed having them standard but think now is the time to change.. Can anyone recommend a pro wheel painter in North West UK and likely cost $£??

Also, what's the best option; powder coating or painting, gloss or matt.

Opinions please?

I went to National alloys in widnes a few months ago,had the gloss black painted finish,and the rusty hubs done.It was done in a day and a really nice finish.Good price too at £140 all in... 0151 495 1880 ......... unit 3 warrington rd widnes wa8 ost

Had mine done at www.thewheelspecalist.co.uk but cost more than the place in Widnes they have done a really good job though. They are based in Manchester up towards sportscity. This was for a powder coat though not a painted finsh.

Cheers for the info, Widnes is too far anyway for me but Manchester may be OK.

Hi phnates, the wheel specialist is opening in Glasgow this or next month. I'm thinking along the same lines as you and going black. Mind let us know how you get on.
