Back to standard bulbs, didn't like the HID's anymore so I sold them.

LED's have also been put back to standard as this pair had also started to flicker, just got fed up spending a few pounds every couple of months replacing these...

Is that a typo? Either that or you have a major problem because that's certainly not like you!

46 Miles after the fuel light coming on wasn't too bad, and I wasn't be ultra conservative either. Mind you I was getting nervous last night on the way home (17miles, heavy traffic) as when I got in the car to leave work the needle was on the bottom and didn't move up till I filled up.

Getting ridiculous isn't it mate. Im sure that will be guzzled before you know it as well. I might start using the fuel tracker like in your signature. Just got a job that involves lots of traveling and only a certain % of my petrol is paid for. Might be time for a diesel...

Strange seeing somebody go from HID's back to standard. Philips bulbs are really good if your after something nice and bright and the blue vision sidelights (i think).

Really do love the FR grills on the front as well.

I'm quite happy with my fuel economy, I reckon I'm getting close to diesel economy with mine. I like using the fuelly.com as it lets me see easily how much money I'm spending on the fuel.
the reason I went back to standard bulbs was I was nver happy with the beam pattern from the HID's, when I went to full beam I ended up with a "thick" band of light in the middle of the beam which there wasn't anything I could do about.
The bulbs I'm using just now are the Halford Super Extreme Blue (I think) and they are pretty good I must say, I'd looked at the Philips bulbs too at the time but they looked too expensive so I gave them a miss for the time being.

Don't know how you get 40+ mpg out of the thing, I get low 30s out of mine and generally I do drive it sedately.

I'm going to sign up for that Fuelly thing I see how I get on.

Can't believe the current price of fuel mate, really is shocking. It's going to force a number of people off the road, it's getting that expensive.

Damn right.
I've only just passed a couple of weeks ago and have been on the job hunt for a couple of months. Only reason why is because I need fuel!

I put £20 in it yesterday (15.9 litres), have done less than 30 miles since filling and the car is already back to saying 1/4 of a tank :-o [:@]  :wtf:
