haha...how do i go about booking on to a stand then? dont really use IOC anymore..

Yeah my GF wanted to come as she is kinda interested...but reckon my mate might come with me

Yeah i would love to do the lot of them but very busy at weekends

You don't really just stick your name on the list on the thread about it,
http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/showthread.php?t=273754 there is a banter/chat thread too I think.
makes it more fun on the stand and even better if there is a convoy in your area going up together. Everyone is great really look after each other shares food and drink etc. sounds cheesy but like a family. Edition is not organised like inters where you get different passes for the stand and they have proper spots laid out at edition it gets made up on the way which is a bit annoying at times but it is way cheaper to get in! Don't think the Dubs peeps like us Seat people much lol!

i know people say there quick, i have driven a pd130 (unmapped i thnk) and an remapper FR petrol but i dont know how the FR TDI mapped feels? are they quick like? or do people exagerate? i know that 165bhp mapped is ok but my bro has a civic typeR and its 200bhp and now that feels quick compaired to his old 1.9 cdti astra and that was like 150 bhp

I went from a 1.2 petrol to my FR Scott and it took me a long time to get bored of the speed, plus so different from petrol obvious with the turbo boost such a joy overtaking people with the boost! For the first proper time yesterday on the way back from Inters where I was going to get a map I felt bored of it and really was disappointed I had not got a map done. lol you should get a V-tec this (middle finger) and sticker if you get a quicker car then Scott lol!

ummmwell mine is at 177...and i think it feels quick...but dont really have much to compare it to...driven plenty of 172 AND 182 and they felt pretty quick...this is a different type of quick...if it makes sense...its low down grunt and very torquey! and good acceleration once your above 2500rpm....i would say try mine but your about a million miles away1

i feel its a quick car for the price and insurance etc...some people go over the top and say i beat a boxter, scooby blah blah but i'm not really into this bravado stuff...i they look mint, sound great once tbhey have decat system and look different to every other generic french or jap car...:ban:

By the way heard a Milltek full system with decat on a Fabia vRS yesterday and want one now! Can never tell from a video but that whistle is the best, can't get it by just chopping out the cat apparently!!

yeah...thats what i have full decat system...i took a video but u cant hear the noise that well

I heard it but was not sure if that whistle was like that for real but now I heard one for realy I want. I stuck up a thread on tdi sport to try to help me decide to get either the rest of the Milltek or just cut the cat out (obviously waaay cheaper!) I was persuaded I was being ripped off buying the Milltek but if I sell then I have the option of stick the old system back on with less hassle. The lad with the Fabia said you won't get the same noise with just the cat chopped out hmm think time to revive the old thread me thinks!

deffo get the downpipe...its 130 quid but very good outcome...more boost less lag and great noise...even when your doing 20-30 and just off the turbo at bout 2000 rpm it sounds ace...gets few looks as well...above 3000-3500 its makes a lovely roar...then you change down or come of the gas it burbles and whistles....:)

how would a downpipe without the decat system do? i'm not a fan of loudness but wouldn't mind a tad more burble from my FR ;)

with the sports cat?

i dont know but its a lot more ex[pensive and not sure if you would see any difference. The full trubo back system is great, not loud at all really, and makes a whistle as you come off the turbo and then a lovely roar when you go above 3,000 rpm...

nothing like a cherry bomb - chav-tastic exhaust...whilst still creating bit more subtle noise...doesnt drone either at high speed...just did a 500 mile round trip to devon and was smooth as anything....

also get bit more boost from the turbo..as running bout 23psi before with stage 1...now get 24 psi with decat
