big clean today with some new products...few new stickers...
have had lot of 'issues' back home so car has taken back seat...but hopefully getting cupra bushes done as well finally getting my 312mm upgrade done! also led sidelights at same time as service next month...then perhaps just maybe some new alloys...only ones i will change for are porsche twists
also got a battery cover off david at sere motors...but doesnt fit...seems the facelift FR (post 06) dont have battery covers, as the extra fuse bit at the top means it wont fit

I drove my dads Mondeo on Saturday and he has 312 brakes on his, touched the brakes and nearly went out the windscreen

I drove works VW Fox for a day and then got in my car and touched the brakes and stopped too early lol same as when I was in the Fox I kept telling myself it doesn't handle like my car and it doesn't stop as fast lol! If you only ever drive your car you kinds forget about it was a good reminder!

i found some 288mm brakes last night for sale (just the discs) of a cupra....was going to buy them until someone said whats the point...it wont change that much on a 1.2

Mate, if you want brakes, buy brakes!! You may not be the fastest car around town but you'd be the quickest stopping lol

Possibly new alloys
Seat Sport intercooler and forge pipework when saved up for it!

really love the porsche twists...but need to find a decent set then get new tyres and adaptors so quite expensive, if i decide against it then i will change colours of my Fr alloys....again!
yep should do..unsure on the hub size though..i have 288 on mine..they are standard on FR's and presume sports as well.
You have to get new hubs for 1.2 ibiza and will cost you more than its worth!

I have some used 312 drilled discs if you want them did about 5k used to be on Ad Lav's car I never used them in the end I really want rid of them.

yeah awesome, then need pads...will prob get the aufi TT ones from eurocarparts.
luckily got a bmw mechanic over the road rom me who does work for me very cheap..
was at Millbrook proving ground the other day for a conference, usual its like fort knox to get into but managed to have drive round the high speed bowl and the alpine trail....in a tri-fuel lotus exgie 2701
was absolutely nuts!
the conference was Low Carbon Vehicle 2010, as this is the sector i work in at the moment
lotus twin electric motor elise...very quick...sounds like a jet fighter does 0-60 in bout 4 secs

i realise that low carbon vehicles aren't everybodies cup of tea, but they really impressed me, and there were cars from almost every manufactuer...bar seat!

Mate, your cars looks the absolute cheese!! Love the wheels in that colour mate, don't get rid of them! I'm tempted to refurb mine similar but dont know if it would look daft on my colour car

ahh...cheers mate! yeah this was platinum gray with bit of fleck in there...with your car i reckon same or even darker...that would look ace..
