There arn't any pins holding the pads in on the tt set up, there is the metal wired bit but that holds the caliper in the carrier straight?
That's what I meant hear people call it retaining pin.

yeh 15 quid i think, just the fitting takes hour and a half or summert![]()
yeh thats a good price that. Think for 300 quid from the tt shop you can get ebc discs and ferodo ds2500 pads though, thats what i was gonna go for but cupra brakes came up cheap. Ended up part ex'ing the pads and calipers with the tt set-up with brand new redstuff pads and kept the new drilled and grooved discs, ended up costing 100 quid, then 50 fitting. Suppose every cloud has a silver lining haha
Have a look on Edition38 forum or Briskoda or ebay sometimes!
Hello, well discs and pads!
I will try get one soon, gonna get one of it at stand still and then one at fly by..might try tomorrow lunch time with a mate.
not gonna get uprated clutch or fmic i dont think..too expesnive and i dont think it will be worth it, more wanna sort the look and style out
calipers and carriers are hard bit to find...can get discs and pads quite cheap..
Sounds good. I took some good fly by vids when I was up at P-Torque....I think I'd get in trouble if I posted them up on here though
That's exactly what I did with my car, started with styling then moved on to performance. You had a better start with your FR though![]()
lol yeh I know good luck, you best of buying the whole kit as people say I made the mistake of trying to buy calipers on their own and had to buy new ones. I just set up a poll on what discs and pads to get DS2500 (expensive thou) are what everyone says for pads mixed view on discs. But have just spent alot so guess it will be in a couple of months now.
Bushes fitting is not that cheap by the way I had it done when the coilovers were fitted as you are meant to get wheel alignment done after both!
Really thought it was an hour a side nearly? Plus wheel alignment. Oh yeh I had powerflex and cupra ones fitted at same time too.
