i thought they were smaller plain red ones, not a big fan of the novelty cars personally think they work better on little or wacky cars like campers or lupos and they get nicked anyway! Yeh exactly each to their own they looked good from a distance lol.

Your camera is underexposing the wheels, because the main part of the photo (car, sky) is light.

Mine does the same. And everyone comments on my black wheels. Even though they're obviously grey in person

I like them. The only problem I have with them (and all ibizas) is that the wheels are a bit overdone. Something different would be good.

But then again, different doesnt always work

For your photos (I dont know what camera you have but most will have the functions)

You should set your camera to Tv (not television, but shutter priority ) and then alter the shutter to open slightly longer than it is. I can't tell you exactly what to set it to, but have a play about and it'll become obvious

I have a Lumix too so I can tell u exactly what you need to do when i look at the buttons later.

Yeh its because the car is silver. The camera auto exposes for the brightness of the car. Then it makes dark colours murky. Its a pain in the a$$

No, changing the lens wouldnt matter. Ideally what you would do is take the picture, then alter the exposure of the wheel area in photshop/lightbox etc

yeah think i have worked it out now as had a play with the settings, the fish eye pic was with my mates nikon d90

Am I right enough that you have 50mm springs on your car?

Any chance you could take a measurement from the centre of the wheel to the arch for me at the front and rear?

yeah 50mm springs and matching dampers....front is quite low, the wheel is well in the wheel arch, the rear still has a few cms clearance in the arch....

will take actual measurements for you...any reason why?

I have 30mm shocks and springs. And the front sits perfect, but the rear is a bit high. Wondering if using the rears from a 50mm set will even it out

oh yeah big time the 50mm on the back sits nice but another 10mm could be better, from a rough estimate i would say about 2-3cm gap from the wheel arch to the tyre, however the 50mm on front is too low, i should probably change!

was gonna ask you what else I can do/could do to the car, like little things....have done quite a bit but was just thiking of some little details to carry it on...?

will take measurements tomorrow for you

Cheers for that.

Little mods - poly bushes, brake upgrades, hybrid turbo

Tbh with you, you've probably got all the little mods I would do if I had your car, if you mean styling wise.
