As the title suggests, got a 2003 225 LCR. REcently I've started to notice that sometimes, not all the time when I accelarate hard there seems to be a slight hesitation for the revs to actually increase(more noticeable in 6th). Before anybody says turbo lag or something similar, I knw what that it is..thought I better say that before.

Anyway the car has been running perfectly before that, and so I wanted to know if anyone has any ideas. I will try and get it plugged in at the dealership when I can, but thought I'd ask.

Thanks for any help.

My first guess would be sticky / faulty dump valve, you running the std Bosch item? the diaphram splits on the std Bosch item with similar effects to what you have described.

A quick check for fault codes with VAGCOM or similar would be an idea before you spend money chasing faults. Local meets are a good way of finding members with VAGCOM who will probably help you out

check the maf...............
then look very careful at the wires around the coils packs and injectors!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
check the wires for splits, this will cause shorting out when engine gets hot, hence missfire!!!!!!!!!!
my lcr 225 has done this as well change or check the maf problem.if it still comes back... then read a thread called cylinder 3 down agian by me ... it will have all you need to no!!,other wise ask bill @ badger tunning!!
