Well all I can say is go for it at end of the day it's your car. When I fitted my chrome mirrors nearly everyone hated, but I liked them so kept them. Just had a thought if you're going to spray the centre grills then what you doing about the lower grills in bumper:confused:

i'll probably just leave them standard, im hoping that within this year i will get an LC/LCR body kit possibly as i found them cheaper now :) haha

since pay day is coming up, and i have about 150£ to spend, just thought i'd ask you's for some cheap, visual mods that i could do?

im thinking about a new back box, but i have to cut a hole in the rear valence, not sure if i can commit myself that just yet! hahaha :p

Fabia rear wiper conversion about £18, makes the rear look much better, if it'll fit on your front bumper an Lcr splitter. Other than that not much else other than alloys, colour coding bump strips brighter bulbs.

Sorry mate I meant colour code the plastic bump strips on bumpers and on your doors.

yea sorry i misread it, haha i dont understand? its a black car? mistake me if im wrong but dont you do that on like coloured cars like yellow, red or blue?

Yeah but on any car it makes it look cleaner. The other reason I thought of it is because when you wax/polish car you can end up with was/polish going on bump strips and end up leaving white marks, also they have a tenancy to fad slightly (well they did on my old car)

ohh yea i see, sorry haha i didnt understand, yea that happened on my old megane, its a right pain but no, they're fine for the time being, nice and black :)

If they do fad or get wax on then lin sead oil is meant to work well to remove marks. Other than that not much else can be done to the outside of the leon. Well other than fitting face lift bumpers.

yea i really want bumpers and alloys, but unfortunately my current part time job and school wont allow! haha hopefully get a full time job this year though and then the work really starts :D

Fingers crossed you do mate. But no doubt you'll be keeping the car for a few years so take your time doesn't all have to be done at once. Just had an idea look into up rating brake disks and pads on the front basically handling mods. This will help make the car feel more responsive in the bends.

i've decided on back box, for £60 at my local garage and then new bearing :( oh well theres always next month! haha
however those brakes sound pretty tastey, would they not be quite expensive?
about how much would you recon?

It all depends on what make you want etc. EBC green stuff pads and turbo grooved disks are normally a good starting point. Put a post up in badger5's store on here as he's meant to be quite cheap, or you can always try your local perfomrance shop but not halfords

yea just checked them out, welll outta my budget! hahaha
i think i am just going to get the basics done for now, it's getting booked in for a new engine, new bearing and back box to be fitted, so hopefully it'll sound like a car, not a clonky orchestra!

bad news guys :( rang the mechanic who was going to do my engine swap for me, he can't program the engine to the car

so now i have to take it to the main dealers to get the engine programmed to the car :/ and so now the cost of the engine swap has doubled :(...

its money that i cant afford :(

BUT today i bought a new backbox, :D so thats getting fitted when the engines getting done :)

pics soon to come ;)

a couple of pics of my new exhaust, hopefully to be fitted over the weekend :)
