guys im going to sound daft here....im wiring up my boost gauge and well....i scotch locked into the brown wire on the dimmer switch for ground and the second from the opposite side for positive feed (blue n white i think) and shazam.....nothing.....where am i going wrong. i need some definate confirmation of where to wire my cables to
 
Me again guys....made progress...have got an auto gauge from halfords and wired up to the back of my lights switch following a very good thread on here. Next problem was that at first everything worked perfectly and it remembered the colour I set too but after a short spell the red of the digits dimmed but not the needle and then I could not change the color. The pin did nothing. Then to top it all it started changing to blue on its own. Does that sound like a bad connection or faulty gauge? very

Yeah i really like them i have a full boxed set of Phantoms and thought they where the best oe looking untill i saw these.
