n75 valve

hey car still not goin right it seems to go right but boost a bit more then hits limp mode. someone told me it the n75 valve casuse of overboosting is this right enough?! thanks

Does it run smooth with the MAF disconnected? Have you reset the ECU since changing the MAF?

After that it might be worth trying the standard dump valve and the temp sensor perhaps? Is the turbo actuator working correctly?

yea runs smooth an ecu reset, tried standard dump valve and actuator working correct! i dont know if should be boostin so high which is why i was told bout the n75 valve. car runs smooth an pulls well up hills even in limp mode but just not as quick

HI, since buying my lcr i allways thought it was slow so got a boost gauge and it only boosts at 7psi all the time never gone over (LIMP MODE i think), had a fault code for lambda so i replaced it and reset codes but still in LIMP MODE, looked for a boost leak but no luck! why is the car constantly in limp mode ?? can anyone help?

sorry icant help you as still messing bout with my own. not getting limp mode now but if driven hard it misses and splutters like its trying for limp mode. i changed everything maf. map sensor. n75 valve. n249 valve, intercooler, vac hoses, boost gauge, upgraded dump valve spring(on the 3rd strongest)lambda probes, turbo!, had 3 mechanics looking for leaks first found a couple but def no air leaks now. the ones looking at it now do remapping and programming and think say its something to do with the actual program(which they didnt put in)say its reading a leak thats not there?! i was looking through this about the n249 bypass sort of thought i could be losing pressure through the dump vavle opening it when not needed. think this stops the car opening it automatically but not sure work in progress!!................good luck my cars not going as bad no limp mode but as said it not still not perfect. let me know how you get on

Looks like uv tyied everything, id have gave up by now and sold it. I just want mine to run right as im sure you do, think its my cat gone as the new lambda reads -1.6 on block 6 on vag-com and the old lambda read -3.1, not sure what this means but its an increase on the old lambda so guessing its cat, gonna run some cataclean through it see what that does.

dont know if this will help any one?!?!
im having allsorts of probs with my cupra at the moment
i had the dreaded press leak code - still do
have you checked all the pipes in/going to the PCV under the inlet?? my pipes was all split.
what N75 are you running?? has the car been remapped?? have you got a boost gauge??
reason i ask
i got N75J and a custom remap - the "J" n75 will give 3PSI extra overboost - with a remap of nearly any kind plus the N75J your going to be hitting around 20-24 psi of boost BUT the MAP sensor can only handle 22psi and kick you in to limp!!
this is what mine is doing at the moment! iv just un plumbed the N75 but left it plugged in at electrics and put a bleed valve in its place and its working fine now but need to swap that for a propper boost controller

have a look and see what ya boosting at b4 it goes in to limp
hope it helps any one having the problems
