a month or so back i did a track day with the Saxosportsclub (the saxo was i need of a new coilpack so the LCR went!) here some of the pics of the day :

How did the LCR fair against the VTS Paxo's
I would have thought they were all over you on the corners but you'd pull away a bit on the faster sections and long sweeping bends
Just noticed that you don't have any suspension mads so you'd have been well behyind in the bends

yeah, in all honesty i didn't realise how much the std cupraR suspension needs tweaking for track work.... i'd best describe the experience as a lot of body roll and understeer!! down the straights i was okish but the majority of the saxos there were track modded and lightened too so i didn't have it my own way at all!!

next up is arbs and coilovers!!

Haven't been round the Llandow circuit since I was about 15 years old... on a sponsored cycle!

Jonny : it's the second time i've done Llandow, earlier in the year i did it in the saxo - didn't realise how capable that car is!!

Jamie : yeah, it's been bugging me for a while (it's been like that since i bought it!), everytime i think about doing it i find something else to do

I had a 106 GTI before the LCR fackin loved that car, lowered 30mm, it was awesome in the twisties

yeah, i still got my saxo, spend FAR too much on it to sell it!! it's on bilstein group N gravel suspension, hi-spec 4-pots brakes on the front and throttle bodied 183bhp screamer under the bonnet, i reckon it owes me about 20k all in!
